Its time for a new belt and was going to stick with the hard but long lasting yamaha belt. Was wondering if anyone had good luck with any aftermarket belt on an apex. I'm happy with the stock belt,but wouldnt mind one that would get closer to full shift out on primary. On a side note,different subject, anyone with pilots skis who want the yellow ski loops on the black pilots,just grind down front ski loop where it mounts to front of ski and the same at lower mount point and the yellow yamaha loops fit on the pilot skis.Its a nice way to keep the yamaha name going on your skis. If you look at some of the stampings on both skis i would guess they were from the same manufacurer.
