I'm boggled...my old runners were wore past the carbides so I went to the dealership and bought some 6" woodys carbides and now the thing is down right scary to ride.. it was all over the trail and it was almost like someone was sitting on the front end grabbing my ski loops and yanking them from side to side...very scary feeling!it bites way to much now. I have the entire sled lowered down because this is the way I like it set-up for the trails around here..to be honest I could ride faster with the old ones worn to the ski than these! Anyone have any ideas??If I was to make sure my ski's are properly lined up with the track and toed out to the spec...what is the easiest way to do this??thanks!

After talking a great length to Scott Bergstrom, he is a big believer is shimming your skis. Have you done that yet?

Yes, definitely check your toe out adjustment. There was a recent thread on how to do an alignment, try searching for it.
Also, check your front suspensions bushings, they wear quite quickly. You'd be surprised how loose they get.

You need to check your bushings in your a-arms. If they are the factory ones, they are loose. I changed mine at 900 miles and they were very sloppy. Check with Ulmer Racing if he has any in yet.

shim the skis first, if that don't work then add some "ski savers" or make a set out of an old pair of slides. More than likely the Woody's have a larger host bar than the stock ones which allows them to sink deeper into hardpack AND makes the skis follow other peoples ruts.

Do you mean reverse the rubber between the spindle and ski?If so, yes. Under acceleration its fine...but boy when I let off the gas hang on... I just about lost the woman last night
