New Engine in 2016 Vipers and Other Changes

So if I spring ordered a 2016 sr viper ltx LE and it arrived at dealer on sept 1 st you guys are telling me it will not have the updates to the motor ? I thought that it was only referring to early build 16 sleds that Yamaha had on showrooms in April. Haven't picked mine up yet. But it's still at dealer. Are there people that have ordered ltx LE in spring that sled came in that has old motors in here that can confirm this ?

Just look at the build date on the back of the tunnel that will answer your question and mine was ordered in march and I still got early build 02/2015

Yes they arent black. Too hard to tell by color at least the new vs a used old one. I think when new the Jackshaft on 14 and 15 is silver though. No need to even worry about that shaft though either way. Will look for good pic of New 14 shaft.

Looked at Red LTX le on show room last and it had new motor. The guys that I seen post that had old motor were blue.

My sled came in sept 1 and had the 02/15 build date and it has the old motor in it. Ltx le spring order.

I picked up my White/Red LE last weekend from the dealer. I had the tuner III's. Can't check the build date on the sled but my MSO shows 8/27/15.

Also HP shown on the MSO states 126.0

Did all the LE's come with the tunnel flares. It was a surprise to find them on all the LE's my dealer had lined up for delivery last week.
