New helmet?

I bought the Mod 2 but I couldn't get it to fit right, was very tight on my jaw. I took it back and traded it for the BV2S and it fits perfect...except it was $142 more! Oh well don't care as long as it works cuz I'm done with the plug in visor helmet.

As far as I can tell the BV2S is much easier to get on and off and if you need to talk to someone on the trail all you have to do is flip open the mouthpiece where with the Mod2 you have to unsnap the mask.

so for over 400 plus 80 for the goggles for the kilm f4 that you don't get cold, doesn't fog and it easy to maneuver when playing around in the back and easy to get off and on? cause i usually take my helmet off a lot

Save your $500.....I picked up my f4 for $200 at the novi show and goggles for $60. Just go find the deals they're out there.

Do most of you use the nose cover supplied with the sinisters??

i found on for 170, and the 509 sinister googles are about 74, have you used the anti fog module? do you need it or are you fine? Also found the 509 helmet which one would you guys recommended that would be better, i do ride in -30

ya last years model was going for 200 and 2 years old was going for 150. And the same here, when I tried it on with the nose piece, it didn't fit right with the breathe box.

For those with the 509 helmet and gogles, is the sizing of the helmet consistent with other brands? My current helmet is a HJC IS16 scratch, but I would like to know if I should order the same size for the 509. Also, Im looking at the sinister black ops polarized gogles, has anyone had problems with fogging with their gogles?

I like my E shield and you can fix your wire jerking problem by putting the wire through your coat, or I put it between the inside and outside zipper down the front. Now no cord flapping around and no tension on the helmet when you get of the sled for any reason, fall or as I often do just forget I even have the E-shield on and it just unplugs. No hassel works great. I came very close to BVS2 and some day will likely get one. But on a trip a buddy had a terrible time with fogging, I KNOW many never had a fogging problem.

For now I am pleased with my E Shield HJC CL 15, I also have an open face I wear on warm spring sunny days and love the bill to block the sun.

Happy thanksgiving
