we have now spent 3 days on the dyno with the 2015 apex test sled with 7000klms on it. Yesturday we made 175hp with air box mods and a pcv tune. Today we added a timing module and have found the sweet spot at 180hp. This is a stock apex engine and exhaust image.jpeg

we have been testing headers and havn't found any added HP.The 180HP kit will include the PCV and ignition module with map.We are making a hole in the airbox and changing the horns to old style Apex horns. The kit will also include a clutch kit as soon as we have it perfected

I wish there was a header to replace this exup system I know its going to end up costing me $$$$ in a few more years. When are you guys thinking you'll be ready to ship with clutching? Great work on netting 20 extra hp!

just checked out your website your old kit made a extra 7hp coming in at 167hp with the PCV, airbox and clutch kit correct. The fact that your able to squeeze out another 13 hp on top of that with just basic mod's is huge I'm really looking forward to running a extra 20hp over stock this winter!

The old kit made an extra 12hp. The sled was brand nee and dynoed at 155hp. We made 167hp with it. The power increased to 172hp after the sled was broke in. So really the sled increased 5hp during brake in to make the stock hp at 160hp. The 180.7hp is on the same sled with the base hp of 160hp. Thats how we have a 20.7hp gain

At the risk of sounding critical, 20hp from simple airbox and fuel/timing mods sounds too good to be true. Especially when Dynotech only pulled 170hp from their test mule with a Yamacharger, PCV, and Bender can. I do not know how "broken in" their test sled was though. Their baseline was 15ohp from a shootout machine. So if they do increase after breakin to say 155-160 that would still put it out about 180hp with said mods.

Well its hard to deny the way we did our testing over a period of three days. One change at a time . We checked each change with 5 dyno pulls with a total of over 140 dyno pulls . Horns are 3hp.timing is 5hp. Airbox and tune is 12hp

112 octane? Any knock sensor apex in the past fell on its face with added timing...
