Apex riders should be pleased with our new seat kit for the 2011-2014 sleds.
The test seat has over 500 miles on it and has performed very well.
They are in stock ready to ship.

You might wanna post this in the Apex General section as they stopped making the Apex Moutain model in 08 or 09? But hey looks good. How much rise and what are the differences? ie foams and weight etc

If you click the link it says it's +2, carbon fibre look sides and a noslip top with a choice of 3 side panel accent colors.

Oh ya this is giving me ideas.... Taller seat, about 4" of riser, knee pads, and a fat boy spring would make the standards apex fun in the bumps, and still cruise on the smooth trails. Did this with a 2006, but bet it would rock on a newer eps model

Nice! Only complaint riding the Apex this last weekend was the seat height was too low, this should do the trick!

If you go to the link and then click on the picture that shows the sled, it first shows the sled w/ a factory seat, then superimposes the new seat. Looks pretty significant. Would do it, just may have to be an off season purchase. Put enough into her this season already!

I will do that. Thanks for the info.
Seat info:
It will give you plus 2" in height with no weight savings just superior comfort compared to stock. Stock storage compartment in tact. We have had excellent feed back so far with this seat.
Thanks for the post!!

Error on my part. The seat is currently only available in Black on Black. If I get requests for more colors I will release them as needed.

Is it hard to install correctly? What kind and size staples? Am I better off sending to WRP for the swap? If so, how long to get it back?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you send it to WRP we will have it for one-two days at the most plus ship time.
We recommend a 5/16" deep stainless staple, it does take some skill so if you don't have the skill and equipment just take it to your local upholstery shop and they should have no problem getting it done.
