Here are some photos of the new Yamaha Snocross racer Steve Martin #12. Steve will be replacing Cory Davis while Cory is recovering.
At Valcourt, Cory Davis had a slight get-off, but he landed on hard ice and fractured his ankle. The break is not in a load-bearing area, but he will be out for 4-6 weeks. Of course Cory and the team are disappointed, esp. since he was riding so well at Valcourt before the incident, but he is expected to make a complete recovery and be back in time for Spring testing.
To fill in during Cory's absence, Yamaha will be adding Steve Martin to our team to race the next 2 races at Sarnia and Cadillac. Steve is a WPSA National Pro racer that won the Silver medal at 2002 Winter X Games in hill cross, bronze in Snocross in 03 and was the 04 - 05 WPSA Pro Open points champion.
Martin finished 6th at the races this weekend in Sarnia.
