I left the sled out over night and of course suspension was froze solid. so I picked up the rear and dropped it a few times and loosened the sled from the snow. I went to take off and it wouldn't go anywhere. so I picked it up again and dropped it. it moved after that but now there is a new rattle coming from the clutch and a few squeeling noises at idle. any ideas what it would be.. The clutch turns clockwise and counter clockwise about 1/8 of an inch or more. is that normal? what would you look for and would it be anything in the reduction gear that I could of damaged? thanks for the help guys!

Did the belt overheat and / or get glazed when you tried to move it?

no I don't think so. I didn't put much power to it when it didn't move. as soon as it started to have any trouble moving I stopped and unfroze it better. and it does it at idle also. but I do have a new belt for it and I will clean the cutch surface just to be safe

check your drive belt, clean your clutches if they havent been done in a while and forget about the gear reduction, they never have much issues (if any)

When its really cold out pull up on ski loops to break free skis , you maybe in need for a clutch rebuild kit and cleaning but should be fine rest of the season.

yes i did lift up on the skis as well. thanks for the info guys ill pull the clutches off clean and inspect and see how it goes from there. but now I have to go shovel out my driveway since we just got 80cm of snow

The new belt might not make the squeal go away, many posts about squealing because of a new belt and I'm one of them. Squeals at idle only and never did before.

Check the bushing in the clutch spider and the outer cover to see how much play there is. My sled has 8000 miles on it and the bushings are so bad that the clutch is sticking and the bushing on the spider has about 1/8 of play that is way to much.
