I just read in the back of Snowtech about Lonn's new "Tuff Guy" secondary spring. I know there are a couple "insiders" (yes NOS-Pro and Shagman, I'm talking about you) on here - what do you guys know?

I know it works on the tar can't wait for them to come out production!

to me the test of a secondary spring is the trail riding ...in and out of the throttle..

Very true but pull after pull to 135mph and no blown belts will prove they solved the coil bind issues we will have to wait and see

I thought I read dalton did the measurements and the secondary soing had .100 clearance left in...I think the stock spring is too soft...Ive been using a cat spring with good luck..but don't like the clocking so am happy to have other options

I got one on order

If we already have had the secondary machined for coil bind is there a benefit in getting a different spring?

I ran .05 to .1 faster in the quarter with this spring compared to my stock spring and my helix was shimmed so yes there is a benefit the rate is slightly different I don't know what it is call Lon and he will have more info on it.

It's supposed to be a secret until finalized, so those guys are hush hush for now...but yes there is something in the works. A little bird told me. We'll call this bird a "Lonningbird"...

It isn't a secret when there's a photo and paragraph of it in SnowTech, unless . . . you mean there's something else coming . . .

It WAS a secret last week. Last i talked to him, he was waiting on supplier
Ah ah. Maybe the mag was supposed to hit a little closer to HayDays. Regardless - I'm stoked to try it. I was all set to remove the shims and have the secondary properly machined until I saw this, now I'll wait. Lonn will be a busy guy at Haydays and I'll be in line at his booth to get one!

There was only .010 clearance. Thats not enough.
