Wait till spring. I bought my perfect condition '07 Apex RTX in April of '17 with 2,000 miles for $3,400. Just sold it for $3,300 with 3,500 miles.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks for all the feedback. Went and looked at the sled, offered the guy 3500, he never got back to me, ended up picking up another one with half the miles, shocks rebuild for the same price. The track is studded and all I can say is, my god, she rips! It's my first sled so I have nothing else to compare it to but overall I'm really happy.

Anniversary. My favorite color.
Well done.
FYI I've had many sleds but the Apex always surprises me when I punch it. I've also had three different R1 sport bikes that the engine was based off of.

I like the Ohlins on the 40th as well! Great sleds. If you knees hurt you need the firmer seat from a RTX/MTX.

Does seat concepts still sell just the foam? Some people have got it in the past

I don’t know for sure, you can call them directly and find out. My 14 yo seat cover was good except for some areas where it was stapled. There were some rusting staples and some rot in that area.

They don’t sell just the foam. I think they used to but maybe when seat concepts bought them that stopped
Looks like they sell the foam and cover for $300

I checked they do not sell just the foam anymore.
they also told me that they sell the foam density according to your weight which i'm happy to hear.

i'm wondering if i tell them i'm lighter then i am if the seat will be a bit softer. I'm at 210lbs and i'm thinking of telling them i'm 180lbs. i really don't want a hard wooden park bench type seat because i do long days when i do ride. the seat of course is part of the suspension and any help to smooth it out is always good.
