I'm replacing the track on my Attak and was actually planning on installing the 1.5" Ripsaw except that it has been discontinued so that is no longer an option. Next pick is the Intense but with a paddle design, there is always a loss of speed. For those of you that have installed this track, how much did this effect your top speed? If it is a considerable amount, I will end up going with the Ripsaw II. Thanks

I was going to put on a 1.5 ..but I went with a Ice Ripper XT . Love it . Was thinking about a Cobra too,but I run 80% trail then deep .if your off trail more this would be different .

The last couple winters, there has been lots of snow here on the east coast and the Intense would be the perfect track even though I am 99% on trail. But if we have a marginal snow winter then the track will be a poor choice. With that being said, I'm still up in the air about it.

You will loose 5 to 10 mph. With the old ripsaw I could get approx 105, now hard pressed to get 100.

i got 1.5 intense on gt 136 , clutched, got top speed on dream meter of 117 mph on pretty bare road, rip saws r junk imo , cobra is good but intense best , will have a little bit of howling on packed but worth it for on off trail capabilities

My 700 Poo went from 110 to 98 on my speedo... Intense feels like 20 HP more in powder, however trail riding it's nothing but a street sweeper. Hated mine. Vibration was insane.

Thanks for the replies. Since I love the speed and ride mostly all trail, I went with the Rip II. Its a way better design than the original.
