Is the header problem just an apex thing or is this happening to RX-1 MC rear mounts also? Sounds like a part to keep on the shelf so you do not have to wait for back order!

The flange problem, is strictly an Apex problem. If you change to RX flanges, the problem is gone. (you need to make them longer however), but on your RX, you shouldn't be to worried about this.

On my friends Apex both the right header pipe and the header gasket was shot. Gasket had leaked all over the place, it was easy to see cause the heat shield was black around every exhaust outlet. We have now changed out the exhaust header gasket.
Checked headers and gaskets for leak on my sled this summer, no exhaust leak were spotted.

I checked my ti pipes and they're definitely warped and not the size they used to be. I also checked the 4 individual headers and they're no visible cracks. How do you know for sure if these are good or not? You guys are saying the right side one tends to crack?
The warped pipes could explain the lack of bottom end, but I'm still baffled where all the smokes coming from over the front and why only when I wheelie?

Have you checked for any leaks? Antifreeze or oil. I've never seen that kind of smoke from an exaust leak.

Yea, I've checked for leaks and haven't seen anything. There's so sign of any oil or antifreeze leak that I can see.
I also notice on the left ti pipe there's a big 1/2" long crack right where that bracket piece basically rests on the pipe.

the only way to REALLY be sure, is to take them of and pressure test them.
not sure about the smoke when you wheelie. it can't be exhaust, as it wouldn't come out through the fornt of the sled, and it seems to white to have much oil in it. seems like water is leaking out somewhere. It doesnt have to be much to get that smoke, so it's not easy to find when you'r looking under the hood. But check the watertank, I know there has been some leaky ones out there.

are you sure its not steam from snow hitting the innercooler, mine does the same thing when I am in the boost hard and snow is hitting the innercooler, I thought it was smoke at first but its actually just steam, that innercooler gets hot on the charge tube side under boost.

You have a MCXpress kit, it wents the crank in the nose cone, right? Could that be it? If you have lost compression combustion pressure will blow by the rings and pressurize your crank housing pushing oil steam out the crank went line, have you checked your compression. I have seen one Apex that went into detonation, it smoked out of the crank went line a lot, even at idle.

I haven't checked my compression. What's it supposed to be at? And whats the best way to get to the plugs?

Sorry, you have to remove head light, and all covers in front of your steering column. There is no easy way to get to the plugs.

Ti pipes are garbage, brand new RX1 stainless header pipes are CHEAP, like under 200 usd for both. And work awesome.
Easiest way to check the bello's is try the sled on and see if you can hear a leak and as well feel it (warm air) If a bello is toast, you'll know it asap by doing the above.
As for the smoke when wheeling, with a rear mount it doesnt make sense. Does it smell like burning oil or coolant (chicken noodle soup) ? Have a good sniff and least that narrows it down to one or the other.

Judging by the quiet whispers, sounds like I made the right choice! They're two things wrong with the MCX, the ti pipes and air filter. Should be even more smooth sailing from here on out now that I have those two fixed.
