Yes I can jumper in the open harness. It will crank not start. I will check the kill continuity I really think it's there.
I am not "totally" against the harness cut, I just need to eliminate outside the harness.
Its just that the damn thing worked when parked. Thanks for the diagram! !
All the small fuses are solid and hot in the ign harness on the red.
No crank at all using the key

All but the black yellow show 12 going to the handle. The black yellow only shows 10 when up and .9 or so when down.

something isnt making sense here your voltage shouldnt be dropping, is your battery dead? unplug the kill switch on the bar from the harness, i think the plastic is black, its 2 wires, brown and brown+white i believe. unplug it and check on the handlebar side not the sled side.
meter on continuity/ohms (the mode that beeps when you put the meter leads together)
check between the wires it should be beeping when the kill switch is up and nothing when its down.
black and yellow isnt the right wire for killswitch, i think that goes through the throttle switch

Part number for a new pivot arm is: 8ES-47331-01-00
Yamaha Sports Plaza has it listed for $135 so a used one should be under $100

Lol you're good!! I need the bar in it too is my guess. I will order this one or have a good looking one in hand tuesday. Thanks soooo much for bearing with me. Back up lights on the trailer worked when I hit my driveway. Will connect the wires better and see if that works. If I do order one can I ship it there?? Thanks again. Tim
