No spark issue 2000 vmax 700

Hello gents. I am fighting a no spark issue on my wife's 2000 vmax 700 deluxe. No spark to the plugs but when cranking over the headlight will glow. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

remove the recoil and clean the outside of the flywheel as if it is rusty at all, it will not fire.
