I've been reading up on turbos and s/c, but one thing I haven't seen anything about yet, is how much noise a turbo or a s/c actually makes.
What kind of noiselevels do you guys that have turbos or s/c experience, compared to a natural aspired engine?

SC will allow you to leave it as quiet as stock, as will a front mount turbo. Rear mount Vector was pretty nice, a little louder than stock. Don't know how the Apex will be but I sure won't be running their optional muffler, LOL. can't see it being that bad with a helmet and balaclava on.

are you talking turbo or supercharger sound themselves or the exhaust. If your talking exhaust I know cpr's trail turbo exhaust tone is 1decibal quiter than stock.

The sound of a forward frontmount/front dump turbo

Here are some videos of my front mount -front dump turboed warrior. It has a deeper rumble at slower speeds but when it goes on boost its is not as harsh/sharp as piped 2-stroke. When riding in the snow its not bad at all, a little louder on bare ice. There is one other brand turbo on one of the hill climb drag race videos that you could use for comparison but its a very short segment. All the other vids are piped and modded sleds.

Just my humble opinion

any of the Vids from Phatman shootout, Schuss Mountain hill drags, or Spider lake are good examples

My Bender stage 2 is fairly loud but it sounds oh sooo sweet. The bender is quite a bit louder than stock.
