Anyone see any good deals on non current Apex XTX"s? I am interested in a new 2011, 12 or 2013 or even 2014 but can't find any good deals on them. Two buddies of mine bought new non currents last year for $11,000 each. I would like to find a deal like that but I can't even find anything under $14,000!
They are wayyyy cheaper in the U.S, I have seen new 2014's for under $11,000 & the 2015's are not much more!!
I did find a new non current 2012 Cat 1100 Turbo procross for only $8,500 but after doing some research (that wasn't their best year, lol) decided it best to stick with Yammi!!!!!

THANKS :)

by the time you pay the exchange and duties/taxes bringing it over you're back to 13 grand plus easily. you will have to wait until the end of the year or the beginning of next to get a good deal. when the snow is still on the ground the price remains high. good luck

Ya I realize it is not feasible right now with the Canadian dollar being in the toilet & all to bring one back from the States. I thought with everyone on here someone might notice some deals on them, many eyes are better than my two, lol.
Thanks for the wish of luck :)

Check with Pat's in Greenland Michigan....he had the twin to mine with 1,500 miles on her for $8,900 (2011 XTX)...I only paid $7,900 for mine total (it had 3,300 miles on it...so it was a bit less)

With the way the Canadian dollar is I will have to find one here in Canada. At $8,900 + exchange on the dollar I would be looking at $11,000 for a used sled.
Thanks for your reply just the same.

I know carlsons in north bay had a 2011 apex xtx demo but they are being stupid on the price. it was there when I bought in jan 2013 and still is up on kijiji. I know play here in Sudbury still has a current model year apex xtx on the floor. talk to mike and see if he is willing to deal.

Hahahaha, I know what you mean, WSL sports in Winnipeg have a 2012 Apex Demo that they want $12,000 for it with almost 7, 000 kms!!!!!!!!

13,000 for a new sled is still cheaper then 16,000. Finding a leftover XTX is going to be harder then when I bought my 2011 leftover. Less dealers even brought them in since the release of the Viper. Showrooms full of those Catamahas. Course this is a low snow year so a guy might find a leftover once the snow is gone!

I'll add there is a couple leftover XTX's from dealers in Quebec in the auto trader for cheap. Long drive but!

This one is in Aberta just outside Edmonton! I think its a good deal.

P.S. I drove 2,000 kms to Eastern Ontario to pick mine up!

Thanks for the link, if it was a little cheaper it might have been feasible to have it shipped down here but, unfortunately , with shipping we would be back up to just under $14,000

Not sure where down here is considering your location is Northern Ontario but Say Mont Tremblant to North bay is 700 miles round trip! Pickup at 20 miles to gallon would cost 150 bucks in fuel tops especially with the cost of fuel right now. Add one night Hotel at 100 bucks makes 250. Bet you could talk them down the 250. Don't have a truck take a buddy for a drive pay his gas!

Anyway hope you find one but when I was looking all the deals where many miles away. Georgian Bay and everywhere else along the snow belt wanted almost new prices for 2011's, when I found my 2011 two year old/new leftover XTX east Of Toronto for 12,400. I went and got it!

Yo Sasquatch, I am far north west Ontario, one hour from the Manitoba border. I should have joined my two buddies last year & picked up a non current Apex the same time they did for 11g's

Ah your in the Kenora Area! I was puzzled as Northern Ontario is NorthBay Sudbury not far to Quebec from there! Check out the one in Edmonton! Its a used sled but 1,500 miles for 9,200 is not a bad deal at all! If your heart is stuck on a new one then I can understand that but 1,500 miles is nothing, just broke in!

But ya you should have bought one then as every dealer ship I've been in or looked on line at does not have any Apexs or only one in them. They have ten to twenty Vipers however. Won't be many leftovers this year. Trouble with the U.S. is not many deals there either and prices are the same or higher before exchange rate!

That one looks nice & good price too! I found another one on kijiji in Alberta with only 350 kms for $10,500! ....... The only problem is, it's a 16 hour drive from here to get either one lol!! I guess I am in the middle of know where, good deals many miles away in either direction, lol!
A little off topic but how do you post those links from autotrader, kijiji, etc? Thank for the help! :)
