Jealousy aside, a massive storm is bearing down on the eastern US and Atlantic Canada. Although it is tempting, now is not the time to go riding. Stay warm and safe indoors. If you go out to assist emergency services, stay safe and ride with a buddy.
Now if we could just find a way to divert some of it this way. Maybe we'll see someone sled down Times Square with 2 feet expected in NYC.

1 to 2 feet of snow by tomorrow am. 30-50 mph winds make things pretty tough!

Gotta love CNN. Last night, they were driving out in their "blizzardmobile" and there were just a few flakes flying saying that conditions were treacherous . NYC so far has about 8 inches (20cm). Although for us, 20cm is an OK storm, that can probably cripple a city like NY. At least they're tough enough to dig out themselves and not have to call in the army (sorry Toronto, just had to get that one in there )
Now other places are under 20 inches (51 cm) of powder and still coming. Now that's a major dump! Doesn't look like any rescuing needed to be done since all roads were closed before the storm so that's good.
