NYTRO GAUGE SWAP?

plug and play

well! found a used gauge from an apex. $225. good price i thought?
mileage stays with the gauge as my unit shows 6000km. plug it in and go. works fine. hand warmers. coolant light and such. very happy to have a gauge that i can actually see. looking forward to any info on the tach calibration?

The 2010 Vector speedo assembly is $475 part number 8HF-83500-00-00 but I have no idea if it will work yet. There aren't any 2010 Vectors delivered yet.

Thanks Allen, That would be great if you can try it and let us know if it will work.

anybody figured out how to adjust/change the tach signal for the Apex gauge. We may be buying a 2010 vector if we do I will definitely swap them to see if it works but not a 100% on the purchase yet. So if anyone knows how to fix the tach issue on the Apex gauge that would be awsome.

Not sure if the guys tach works right but on youtube under fx nytro got boost, there is an 08 fx nytro with a supercharger with an apex or vector guage on it? just wondering how he got his to work? He goes by the name of nitrousman99 on youtube, not sure where he got his set up from? but it sure looks and sounds awsome. if your on here would just like to know how much and where is the setup from?

That was my old sled i set it all up....... I spent countless hours setting that sled up, to get her to run like that!

Skydog P.S. Gauge pod i made just fabed it all up. To get the tach close i hooked up my Pc (RB3) to watch RPM and took gauge apart and set needle.

HAHA

I am 95% sure that will be the perfect gauge it should be right on!

LOL, yeah that's me. Like Skydog said he adjusted the gauge so it reads correctly. Can't wait to tear up the U.P.!!! Wish I could get the clock to stay set when the key gets turned off but oh well, who cares about what time it is when we're sledding right? Got some USI X2's on it now so she should rail the corners and have a little more float off trail. Still need to decide on a track for it in the next week or 2.

Yes but it is not off a set number. The higher the rpms the more it is off. So you need to set WOT that i did looking at the RPM on a lap top with RB3. Or Make a few good wot passes with stock gauge. Then put on the Apex gauge make a few wot passes at set it.

Ok , do you remember how mutch more off every 1000rpm it was ? Thinking if it would be possible to alter the signal in any way.

Does anyone know what sort of signal the ecu sends to the gauge for the tach?
