has anyone set up there nytro for the asphalt ?? thinking of putting mine on the tar . not sure if i should use the stock skid or aftermarket ,if i should change the drivers, and should i go 15" or 10.5 track.... read some where about somebody putting 10 tooth drivers in. any help thanks :rocks:

Yup, I'm in the same boat as you. I know the 10.5 suposedly hooks better, weighs waay less and pulls more mph.. Being as you putting a slick track on you have alot more room to put the bigger drivers, don't know if it is worth it if your still running the stock idlers in the back though. I'm wondering about the cooling though, the Nytro seems to run hot when the thing isn't in alot of snow.I notice some of the apex guys are adding extra rads to cool them down on the tar.

I have an extra Proline skid, Proline Skis and new track (10.5" wide setup) if anyone is interested. Running 10 tooth drivers will help with the approach angle and be more efficient regardless of rear idler size. You will likely need to build a cool down cart to help cool the sled down between rounds as the Nytro doesn't have enough cooling capacity to cool itself nor enough room to add a larger radiator.

I cut the stock coolant line and routed the bottom section back and then used some elbows to come up. Then on the other half I bought a hose that fit and routed it straight back as well. This will allow for cooling down without removing the side panel.

$1900 + shipping for the skid, track, skis. Skid is powder coated black as seen, clicker front and rear shock, brand new track (still has the tag on it yet), and a set of Proline skis with wheels and bearings in good condition.

Allen, how much for the track by itself?

$500 + shipping for the track. I currently have someone interested in the whole setup so I will not split the items up currently.
