Doubt the dealer will give them to you (maybe try telling them that you had a no start due to the fuel pump relay freezing up, they might hook you up). yes, you should at a minimum replace the fuel pump relay. That will allow you to get the sled started. Then if the other ones are frozen they'll thaw out. Good idea to replace all 3 (there are 4 relays but 1 of them is a different part number than the others and I don't think the red relay can be used in its place).

I'm not sure if they only changed the fuel pump relay on the 14's or if the changes all 3. I think if you go by part numbers they tell you the only one to change is the fuel pump relay. Not 100% sure on that but believe that was the story yamaha was telling everyone at the time. Course most people just swaped them out anyways. I've still got the black ones in my 09. I changed 2 out of the 3 just before the ssr came out. Wanted to get some use out of them before I just chucked them.

Check this thread, has the correct part number confirmed by Port Yamaha. You can call Port directly and order through them and know you're getting the right ones.

So when i took the hood off and your looking in on the left side there is 4 relays and they are all black . R these the ones that should be changed ? Mine goes in on the 19th , hopefully she makes it threw valentines weekend , im suppose to be up north with my buddys !Doubt the dealer will give them to you (maybe try telling them that you had a no start due to the fuel pump relay freezing up, they might hook you up). yes, you should at a minimum replace the fuel pump relay. Yes relays are black. Only some of them can be changed to red tho I guess. I think it's the headlight relay that has to stay the same. But I don't know which one is which. I'm just gonna buy 3 relays and keep them with me incase I have a problem. I was also told if you unplug and put dielectric grease on contacts u won't have a problem. I'm gonna buy some just in case, my dealer sells for less than $10 each.
