I have a few questions about Nytros. I have an 07 Phazer, I just purchased an 09 Nytro.
I did alot of mods to the Phazer. The questions I have:
1. The Phazer had issues with the spindle holes ovaling out, I purchased new bushings from UPBushman on this site. Does the Nytro have the same issue?????
2.The Phazer puked oil when tipped, had to get the oil shutoff valve, does the Nytro have this problem also???
Thanks
Jim

Yes and Yes, yu can order the same kit from bushman for the nytro, and a rollover velve is a must if you are going to be rolling at some point.

Don't forget A-arm oil-lite bushings, very common problem for both machines.

and keep an eye on the front end lower A arm bushings ... they wear even faster / worse than in the phasers ...

Weak subframes on the Nytro as well. Check the plate on the subframe between the lower a-arms. If its got wrinkles in it, then yours is bent already. If it doesn't, then contract Gross and get a gusset kit.

I have the front end apart, I looked a the sticky on subframe removal and don't want to go that far. Can the gusset kit be put on without total subframe removal.
How much for gusset kit???
Also which ball joints?? upper or lower?? I thought 09 had better ball joints then 08.

Contact Grizz on pricing it's very reasonable. The gusset kit can be put on while the subframe is still installed, taking precautions while welding is mandatory. The lower ball joints are the one to watch for while the uppers seem to last a little longer.
