After a few embarrassing no starts in front of the group, I decided to just change the start relay, $35 no big deal. What I found was the molex plug that enters from top of relay. It had corrosion around the terminals. I could have easily just cleaned up with contact cleaner. Changed it anyhow, and used dielectric grease on the plug that should keep the water out. It looked clean until you unplugged it. This may help someone else in the future. The relay really needs a cover over it as the water can just run down the wires and land at these connections. The symptoms I was seeing were every once in while I had to turn key on and off couple times to finally send any power to the starter. I now have a spare for future use. Hope this helps. :o|

i only paid 8 bucks for the starter relay in the nose, the 2011 one that is supposed to be sealed properly, i dielectric greased it as well.

Are you talking about the ones in the strip, say behind where your tool pouch is, the one I replaced was just ahead of the battery and oil tank. Placed perfectly under the screen vent. Like I said it looked clean until I unplugged the connector.

Yes, starter relay is in the pic. I assume the one Zakre replaced was a load control or fuel pump relay.
