- Yamaha Nytro MTX 162 2013
Hello ! Got a 2014 nytro mtx 162 turbo (190).
What kind of maintenance should be done on it after the season ? after each ride ? I'm aware of the oil change, but not the intervall.
And allso, I have installed a 100W Led bar from Black oak led. Does the yamaha handle 100W extra power on its electrical system ? or do I have to "cut of" the high beam on the H4 bulb ?
Thanks for answers

Can't comment too much on the turbo, but seasonal oil changes are the norm for most turbo and non-turbo sleds that I've seen. I'd say 40-60 engine hours maximum.
On the electrical side, you can't add 100W of electrical load on a Nytro without shedding an equal amount.....the stator simply can't handle it. If you are going to put a 100W light bar, you'll have to completely ditch your stock OEM headlights.
OK I gotta ask...... I use a 40W light bar (10W x 4 CREE) from Nextech, and it's around 8 inches long (pretty big by sled standards), BRIGHT enough to not need stock headlights so how can you have a 100W LED bar????????? That thing is like 20" or 50 cm's long...AND headlights....sorry I'm confused..

It's a 10 inch 100W D-series Black oak led bar. Thinking of just cutting off the "pin" for the high beams on the H4 bulb, so there will be no high beams, just low. Then there will be 110W shredded away
