- 2018 Sidewinder XTX SE. Previous 2011 Nytro xtx, 2016 Apex GT, 1998 Polaris Indy 600 xlt
Here are the details:
- Nytro xtx 144 with 1.35 studded cobra track
- Stock gearing and secondary
- OPO spring with supertip weight setup as follows:
Heel: Thick tungsten insert on 1 side, 2 - thin washers on the other
Mid: 1 thin washer only on 1 side
Tip: 1 thin washer only on 1 side
Overall seems to work well. Pulls consistently to 102-103 mph (speedo) on hardpack and reach the bottom end of the peak power band at 8650 rpm.
Is it worth taking a gram off each weight. If so, where would you take the weight from? I was thinking of taking the middle washer off assuming that it would result in a smaller increase in rpm at top speed than if I took the tip washer out. I am also hoping this will help with the mid range a bit too.
