My friends and I were debating is it worth buying if you cannot get 91 octane at a local gas station. We have ran the sled with and without supreme fuel and with octane boost. Some guys two strokes won't run unless it's has. 91 octane and even regular without octane boost isn't enough. But that's two strike Polaris. My other buddy has a new etec 800 and swears that he only uses regular and never has had trouble. I know the four stroke is different but what do you guys think? We are the only ones who have a four stroke and other guys I've met say they run fine on 87 octane

Our phazer motors have 12:1 compression and run at 12,000rpm! Run the best newest fuel you can get. Octane boosters dont work very well.
They are over priced. Add one can of octane boost to the recommended fuel volume, your octane lever will go from 87 to 87.4

The phazer is 91octane Recommended, not Required. 80% of my use is 87octane e10 and I've never tripped the "bad fuel" light that pulls timing/HP

Trick 100 Race gas should do it. It costs a little more than pump gas. I have to use 110 in my sled it costs a lot more. I use 100 when I am riding at elevation.
