I just read on supertrax site that Polaris, AC and Yamaha have almost identically split the 60% left of market share after Ski doo takes the first 40%. I was quite surprised by this. Anybody else surprised?

Last I read Yamaha has in 2011 8-12% market share. I wonder why so low? lol

Probably yami market share is worse out west, and better in the flat lands. Weight is an even bigger factor in the mountains. Jmo

If the 8 -12% figures are true, that really is a shame! I defected from camp yellow and could not be happier!
I still have my '06 Renegade SDI, but it has 8500 mi and is getting tired. My Vector has over 7000 and it's wide awake; definitely the most reliable sled I've owned, thus far.
Regardless of what anyone says, there is value in a Yamaha snowmobile.

It's also good to know Yamaha sliders are never on backorder during winter months Try picking up a new crank for 800ETEC in peak season
Anyone with complete 2011 statistics?

Had a few fires on those etec as well. My buddy has a 600etec and we stopped for a break there was a bit of steam coming from his. Lets just say I have never saw side panels on a skidoo come off so fast! All was ok though.BADSLED said:Daranello said:U gotto keep buying yellow cause it doesn't last, Yamaha we keep the sled forever.
