so I put in a total of 3.2 liters but it still looks low on the dipstick (without screwing it in). And I changed the filter and ran it for 2 minutes... how much total oil am I supposed to add?

Supposed to be 3.2l with a filter change and 3.0l without. Did you use a 1l container or 1 quart (946ml)

Then they are 1l. I know on my Nytro I just did a oil change today and at 3.0l it's about 3/4 way between low and high and when I did the filter last year at 3.2l was the same level. I always use the recommended amount and don't worry about it. May be your dip stick is off?

If you ran her for for a few minutes and checked oil without threading and the level showed at or above the L then it’s fine. I find that if you get a lower reading (but still on the hash lines) and then top to full it will be way too much oil. Too much is almost as bad as not enough.
