Powersports1 in Wisconsin.
2552 miles.
But at 300 I checked it and was already spinning so I peened shaft and put new bearing in which did nothing.

Definitely a poor dealer IMO. My dealer knows I do my own work on my sled, and 99% of the time they just hand me the new parts and I hand them the old parts. Especially something like a hose. You need a new dealer for sure.Whats up with the dealers in canada, i have a split hose on the intercooler and the won't warranty it uless i put the hose back on and bring the sled in, sled is 6 months old.

I agree my dealer sucks , i wanted to bring it to my old dealer in usa chippewa motors but they said they cant do any warranty work since the sled was purchased in canada, what if were on a trip and break down in another country? is this true we can'y get warranty?Definitely a poor dealer IMO. Yamaha is different then DOO.....I have owned plenty of both brands, and since I buy in USA but ride in Canada at my winter home, I have found that the 2s doos I had that had blown up, BRP did all the warranty work up in Canada without issue. I have had 3 motors done up there over the years by BRP on American sleds.I agree my dealer sucks , i wanted to bring it to my old dealer in usa chippewa motors but they said they cant do any warranty work since the sled was purchased in canada, what if were on a trip and break down in another country? is this true we can'y get warranty?
With Yamaha, they have separate USA and Canada policy for warranty. I could have bought and paid for all my chaincase parts up in Canada, or even had a canadian dealer do all the work, but I would have paid for ALL the repairs out of my pocket. Yamaha has been said they will reimburse the CA dollars in US dollars, when receipts are supplied. I have read where a few guys from US have done this with success.
When my case blew up in North Bay.....I decided to tear down my sled myself to see how bad it was. I called my dealer in USA, they told me they could get me the parts within a day(got lucky) and so I decided to just drive home(3.5hrs only) back to Niagara. My Dealer told me he could NOT guarantee yamaha would reimburse me if I bought the parts up north. So I drove home, turned in the bad/broken parts in the case and my new parts were in. This is where a good dealer and close relationship with your dealer speaks volumes. My dealer knows I work on my own sled and know my stuff, and they still will need to see the bad parts and send the back. In most cases this works out for me.
Seems like a hose is sorta a small item, I think with the moneys we spend on these sleds, I would just buy the part and be done with it.
