Am I missing something. 15 LTX DX in order to drain the oil tank do I have to drill out the pop rivers holding the bottom plastic on I see 3 screws, all holding the plastic shroud to the foot well. Or, is it really necessary to drain all that is in the tank. My 2012 Venture was simple.

Read that post^^^ and put the drill away.
Just take the 4 tork screws that hold toe guard in place and remove it, you'll have access to the drain plug after that.
