oil leaks

Can anyone tell me if there is an oil leak from a seal in the primary would it show up as low oil on the dip stick in the engine?

i doubt it. there have been a few reports over the years of the seal on the pto shaft leaking, but the amt. leaking would be more like "seepage" as opposed to a major leak that would lower the oil level on the dipstick.

Check for leaks on seems of reservoir.
