I have 2015 LTX se that I only got to get about 806 miles on it this season. Now I'm pretty sure that when the key on the oil light would light and go out after engine was started. Maybe I'm wrong, so could someone could confirm this?
Reason I ask, is cause last week I had the sled out to put the new Curve xs skies, I noticed no light at all. My service manual seems to back up my thought on light on. No sign of lack of oil, valve train is quiet, and sights glass is normal.
Thanks in advance.

When I did my first oil change last year, I looked for the light with key on and there was none. Started sled and light came on and went off so fast if you weren't watching for it, you'd miss it. I asked the same question, and believe the answer was it does not come on with key only.I have 2015 LTX se that I only got to get about 806 miles on it this season. I'm pretty certain, it came on with key back during the season. I just replaced my lights with an HID kit and notice a very quick blink of all the trouble lights when key is turned on. Has to be dark to notice the blink. When I did my first oil change last year, I looked for the light with key on and there was none.
