I think/hope the issue is only on the 18’s. My 17 LTX is dry. The 18 RTX 50th has already been to the dealer at 600kms for a reseal and refill. Nothing since then....
My '17 LTX LE and my buddy's Viper also had leaking (see my Another oil leak thread.)
Hey Dan
A company called CFM Performance in Michigan makes aftermarket tanks for apex's and nytro's - and all sorts of atv's.
I sent them a note to see if this is something they would look into for the Vipers and SW's and will see what they say.
I bet it can be easily done.
MS
I got a tank from them for my '06 Apex RTX after the original developed a leak. Very nice piece of equipment.

Awesome really appreciate the info. So the insert pushes through from back side and bolt must pull it into the hole? I’m attempting to find some today.

Dealer gave me yamabond 4 to seal up the tank. It’s the Grey semi drying. I was expecting black. Is the dealer right? Grey is used as a case sealant and those surfaces are machined.

While 4 MIGHT work, 6 would be preferred.

Spoke to another dealer today and they use Suzuki 1207B silicone gasket. Said they had better luck with it. Wonder if it compare to the Yamabond 6B?While 4 MIGHT work, 6 would be preferred.

I can’t see yamabond 4 working well. It’s too thin and kinda self levels. You wouldn’t be able to get a good bead and be able to let it tack up.
