these two poor guys were in the trunk of my Venture
I kept smelling beer everytime I stopped. Actually the Old Forge crews have done a very credible job working with 1/2 their normal snowfall.
Those cans were along for a 220 mile day that started in Old Forge, went through Raqette Lake, Long Lake trail 7B (excellent)
over to Sabbatis, up through Lake Clear Junction & over to Saranac Lake -tracks over to Saranac had plenty of snow but were really rough (BIG rollers) worst part of the ride condition wise , but they've got a nice train station
Then back down the tracks to Old Forge - they got some much need snow Sat. into Sun., as long as it stays cold enough, things should be good
