Can I bring a buddy with a skidoo or is it strictly for yamaha guys?
And I believe you have to register you sled in NY to ride in NY.
But I could be wrong! If any one needs help putting this day together let me know and I'll do the best I can to help out.

You have to register your sled with the Dept of Motor Vehicles. First you will want to join a club (It saves you money at the DMV), It cost $25 and can be done here.. https://membership.nyssnowassoc.org/club/show/140
Once you have joined a club, you must go to any County DMV office and register your sled. I think it is an additional $25??? I can't remember. See info here http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/register.htm and once you are registered, you need a Town of Webb / Inlet trail pass. That is $85 for the year and less for a one week pass. See here http://oldforgeny.com/documents/smallap ... licies.pdf
Most of these things can be done on-line or through the mail.... It looks harder than it is.
Who from Wisconsin or Chicago area is heading out that way looking for a someone to ride shotgun? This sounds like a good time. Guess I better decompress first though. Not sure I will have time to do it before I come though.
Can we get funny gas in Old Forge anywhere?

matt what fuel you looking for, We have a 55 gallon drum of 110 that we have up there in our trailer, I am sure we could lend you some.
And If anybody needs N2O, we also have a mobile fill station in the same trailer for anyone. Just let me or SPEED (art) know.
There are two places to get 92 octane fuel from, Big moose yamaha right on the trail in Eagle bay, and the gas station right in Old Forge. A couple other place say they have it but these are the only two I trust.

Don't worry about opening the motor, just dial it up to 15lbs, change your fuel settings (add good fuel) and throw some weight at it. Less than an hour to do, and you're good to go.
You don't have to pull the rod off of the wastegate - just crack the jam nut and turn the shaft with your hand (or pliers if it is tight).
aj, 110 would be fine. Do you know what brand? VP, TORCO?
I see the boys at Doo Talk are trying to hide some C16 in the woods (check point). Good stuff and thats what makes this fun
