I have darting issues. My skis are C&A XTX with 6 inch shaper bar. I have checked my ski alignments, they are ½ tow. I reverse my rubber boots this weekend and will shim them latter. The ski savers were recommended to me on an other tread link below. I started to read on the ski savers and realized that they do correct darting issues and are available for my ski.

For those of you that used them, I have a few questions.

Do they really reduce darting?
What thickness should a get? ¼ or 3/8?
Will they work with my shaper bar?

I have found 3/8" ski savers to be a great help with darting. They eliminated darting when I ran Slydog skis and made darting more manageable with Curve skis. I had no problems using them with Shaper bars.

Did you feel like you lost any bites when turning?

Conditions vary so much from day to day it is hard to tell for certain. What I can tell you is I was still completely satisfied with the skis in the corners even after the installation of the ski savers.

Thanks for the info.
