Last years sticky thread was started on Oct. 23rd, so we may have to wait till at least then for MrSled to get everything hammered out.

If some of you guys are wondering I had more fun with a 136"x2" then my 162" apex mtn out west and even out climbed some 162" sleds.Track speed and manuverability is the key when climbing the steep stuff.

Lol no sleeping up in the mtns this year for me once was enough.

Ryan ... Rick and I are planning a trip out, extended weekend, not sure on destination yet. Rick planned on calling you when we had an idea of what we were doing.
ok.I plan on going a few times just long weeekends.
I'll leave on thursday's ride friday and saturday and possibaly sunday too and get back on monday.

Tkuss and I are heading out Jan 9th - Jan 18th.
Tentative plans for riding:
Jan 9th Day 1- drive to Buffalo/Sheridan WY
10th Day 2-Ride the big horns
11th Day 3-Ride togwotee, drive to Island Park ID or stay at togwotee
12th Day4- Ride Island park or togowotee again, drive to Lolo MT
13th Day5- Ride Lolo drive to Priest Lake ID or drive from Island park to priest lake
14th Day6- Priest Lake
15th Day7- Priest Lake
16th Day8- Priest Lake
17th Day9- drive back
18th Day10- drive back
If anybody is around these areas during the times we could meet up.

I am happy to guide for this and show people a few locales...
Would need to be a West Yellowstone or South of Bozeman ride...I am confident I could get some deals for places to stay etc. Depending upon how many come out for it...

Tom, you should check out the Snowies. Snowy Range Tour is a Yamaha friendly rental/guide. They operate next to Snowy MTN Lodge. That is if you get flatlanders to drive out west.

where, and what dates are you thinking tom? we have ALOT of time off at xmas/new years (dec23rd-jan5th). was thinking togwotee or west yellowstone. snowies are doable, but i need to sleep at lower elevation. last two times sleeping above 8000 i ended up sick the whole time we were there with acute mountain sickness.
are we all planning on getting out ourselves, or did you want to recruit one of the transport people to load everything in and haul it out for us?
i think mom's motorsports are looking to fill the truck for one complete week right now. destination of your choosing.
as far as guiding, MTdream is a gracious host, decent wrench
and a good guide to boot. would love to hook up with him and his brother again, for another crack at the west yellowstone/bozeman area on my new ride.

Dont know about anyone else but I would like to get out to the Yellowstone area mid to late march...havent been out there in years....Never on a sled!!!
i think lynne and i are going to west yellowstone feb 6th-13th. gonna fly in, and have our sleds delivered to us. we will be powder riding, trail riding on and off daily and going to the park for one day. hoping i can talk my big buddy mt and his bro to come down and ride with us at taylors fork and cabin creek. ski
