Phazer low elevation supercharger interest?

Holtzman nitrous kit for the phazer . comes with 30 hp shot but can be changed by swaping nozzles . ive just installed this kit. very easy set-up. the kit cost 650 but with no bottle. 2lb nos brand bottle fits up front, or the 1.7 lb holtzman bottle also the 3lb boondocker bottle (on its side). I will be using the 2lb nitrous bottle.

yes. a supercharger all hooked up for 5k. i wouldnt pay it for only a 30-50hp increase. we need a part with like 20hp for 1,000$

I have a 08 running 11lbs and let me tell you, I had to ride a 2010 nitro last friday in the snowies beacuse of a broken S/C belt on the phizzer (my fault for not having a spare with over 1k on the belt) and the nitro did not even have close to the power my S/C phazer has. I'd run 50/50 w/114 and stay at 11lbs of boost. I have about 1k miles on mine and only problem so far is the broken S/C belt.
Bottom line you can't compare a stock nitro to a boosted phazer they are complete different animals. Scott

I dont have much experience with NOS on a sled. It seems as though it would be hard to get clutching to work consistently if your on/off the spray? Is this wrong to assume?

The price of the supercharger kit alone is above $4k from MPI. It will not happen at a cheaper price currently.

I will have a stock Phazer on the dyno sometime this week where I will be playing with the PCV, air box modifications (not uni filters, bulls eyes, or frog skinz in the air box lid either), and exhaust.

My sled will get to you sometime to! We will get that package on the Dyno. I can tell you guys that airbox mod and PCV with the Excell exhuast is much faster than a stock sled. My lap times show it. As well as side by side runs. Allen worked hard all year with me to get a great set-up heck we ran 97 MPH on the speedo on a 1-2 mile road with it

Dont fool yourself. A supercharged phazer is a rocket almost double the horsepower of a stock sled... no offense intended but if you lined up against one you'd see the difference

Um dude I said that because buddy who I quoted. Said with the pvc and excell mods he seen 97 and I was just saying I seen 94 with an all stock sled. That's all I was stating

He says 97mph on the speedo... ON THE SPEEDO... with all the mods him and Allen worked on.

On my speedo, on my stock 07 GT I seen 94mph. The end.

The fastest I've ever seen on my phazer's speedo was 143km/h or 89 mph. Going down a slight grade on an groomed rail bed. I have an ulmer clutch kit on my 09 rtx.

Is their any updates on a kit like this? I would be interested but the price tag like many mentioned is the only down side.

Your not even paying attn to what I said. Yam177 said he seen 97mph on the speedo(no gps) with all the mods. I was simply stating that I seen an impressive 94mph on my speedo(no gps) with my stock gt.

How can you not grasp what I'm saying?

Not enough bang for the buck....hell I would mod a Nitro motor into a phazer for more hp and less money.
