I was wondering if anyone has figured out how to keep the Phazer from pushing so much? Unless I'm super smooth in the corners, the front end tends to push.

new skis. lol. i went a little too agressive with USI tripple theats that were on some snow cross sled. but i bet a set of like C and A razors would be perfect. other then that maybe some shaper bars. and check ur carbides they are prolly wore down pretty good altealst mine were only after 200 miles.

Right now I'm running 8" Bergstrom triple points and they are in good shape. I'm also running the thick ski savers that drop them down a bit. I didn't notice it pushing so much in the past, so I was trying to think of what changed? I had turned the rubber blocks around at the ski mounting points to get more pressure on the rear of the ski and reduce darting. In hindsight, maybe I should have used the shims instead of flipping the blocks. Could flipping the bumpers have moved too much weight to the rear of the ski causing it to push?

I would love to try a different ski, but I can't justify spending $600+ on skis, carbides, mounting kit (if required), etc when I only spent $4800 on the sled new, including tall windshield and a few other accessories.

RedPhazer,

I stole the Simmons Flex-Skis off my V-Max to try on the Phazer and the improvement was very good. This is with carbides that are pretty well shot. Unfortunately they look like crap on the Phazer since the skis are black and red and the Phazer is white, gray, and orange. You can get Simmons for the Phazers from www.blairps.com with carbides and mounts for less than $400.00 delivered. I think I will have a set of black ones on my shopping list. I would like to try a set of Curves, but the price is just too high. I also have read some say the Curves are so so off trail. I found the Simmons much more predictable and helped a ton off trail in powder. I spoke to Simmons and you want the YAM-V2 mount for the Phazer. The Simmons did steer a little heavier but worth it to me for the predictability. The Simmons also seem to help absorb some of the bumps. Just my 0.02.

I pulled the front limiter strap up two holes tighter, and took all the preload off the front springs. Made a big difference.
