Ok...I know there is a Sticky on this one, but I can't seem to find much info. on adding pilot 6.9's to my 07 Attak.
I'm sure this has been covered before, so PLEASE point me in the right direction.
I just upgraded to a 1.5" Intense track, as well as numerous other Mods. I want to put on a set of Pilot 6.9's for the extra floatation because I do a fair bit of off trail powder riding.

Can anyone out there running 6.9's give me their Opinions and what is needed to install them on an Attak.

Thanks,
Johny P

I just put my set on with the Snowtrackers to get rid of the darting. Hoping the snowtrackers work well, I'm sure they will with all the great feedback here on them.

Take one bushing on the pilots and turn it around, bolt them on and enjoy increased floatation. I love my 6.9's other than the darting or push depending on carbide choice, hence the switch to the Snowtrackers. Shaper bars and it darted more then I wanted, Bergstroms and ski savers and it pushed and darted more than I wanted.

I have 6.9 pilots on my 06 Attak. They are a great improvement over the stock ski's. With 162 studs down the middle I use 6 inch shaper bars in the middle of the ski"s, and 4 inch woody's on the outside. On the trail the 6.9 pilots work very well. There my be a very small amount of darting, but it's not enough that I can't ride relaxed on the trail. This is the first year I really got to try them in DEEP snow. In about 3-4 foot of untracked snow the front end really stayed up on top of the snow. Of course the rear was digging a deap path. As long as I kept it going I could do all the neat turns by putting sled on it's side and turn the ski's in the oppsite direction of turn to do a tight 180. Just as Mr. Knapp said, turn one of the ski's bushing around and they just bolt right up.
