Has anyone tried the Polaris pro float skis on a VK540V?
Or has any solution to mount these skis to a Yamaha VK540V?

you are the 1st one to ask that i have seen.

I say same. That is an interesting ski that I would have considered when I replaced the Tuners that my MP came with. Keep us posted if you go with them.

the best solution is to put ski from VK pro 2013. See the post : http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/threads/95050-New-2014-VK540IV-blown-plastic-skis-on-EnticerII410

The parts is:
Ski assy..p/n 8JE-F3711-00-00($250cdn for a pair),
Stopper 1 p/n 8AC-23765-00-00(2 of these if your sled has steel skis),
Collar p/n 90387-10029-00(4 of these for inside the ski),
Collar 1 p/n 8JH-23754-00-00(4 of these that go inside the spindle bolt holes on ski sides),
Bolt, flange p/n 90105-10106-00(2 of these extra-longbolts to mount the skis).

Why is that the best solution?
Your post do not answer my question about the Polaris skis.

Your post do not answer my question about the Polaris skis.
Because. this solution is cheap and fit out of the box, The vk pro 2013 to 2015 have a very big ski and this ski is light and good with deep snow.
With this ski, collar and bolt, will fit out of the box with no washer ou other modification.
The pro-float ski is very very good ski, but not fit out of the box.
The ski from yamaha is M10 bolt and the pro-flaot is M12, but i'm not sure for the bolt size for the pro-float.
Many guy add pro-float on BRP skandic or Expedition, but the saddle of the strut is more similar to to polaris widetrak than the VK540.

The good link for installing is: https://totallyamaha.net/showthread...stic-skis-on-EnticerII410?p=647069#post647069

see also the BRP thread and look the picture of the ski. The yamaha ha a big V rubber at the bottum of the struts. I suspect is difficult to fit perfectly. The post is located at: http://www.dootalk.com/forums/topic/1162305-polaris-pro-float-ski/

Both ski is good, but the is more difficult to fit pro-float.

Profloat skis will not fit on the VK540V because the ski saddle does not have room for the bottom of the strut. Just buy Yamaha 12” ski skins, they work great.
