ok thks ben you done a really good job!!! and for the semi and full race map got any news when we gonna have them?
We are currently sending those tunes to customers (testers). They are not final but work very well so far. The Race map I have a few sleds right now, works amazing.
But at 25-30psi one has to have the sled in great order. No loose clamps, a checkover for boots on the throttle bodies. A reversed blow off valve to hold more than 17 psi.
The right very heavy clutch weights. You need around 100g for max power. Lets say it's not a beginners setup. it's extremely powerful and the suspension and track setup has to be right.

For the semi race map which doesn't require as much of a "perfect setup sled", we are currently testing an 18 psi on the stock fuel system. Makes a bit more power than Max17 and is a 20% race fuel map vs 80% 91
We will have the semi-race map available for testing but only with a fuel pump upgrade. We will be releasing a host of new tunes in early to mid december.

To qualify has a tester for all new maps, you need the Wideband O2 module and the flasher with datalogger option as well as the 3 bar map sensor upgrade.

I will be running Dave’s tune (Hurricane). I just have to say that I have been in to sledding for the last 40 some years and can’t imagine how much I have spent on aftermarket parts from tons of different performance shops and most of them have been great but I would say that Dave was by far the most impressive experience buying parts for me so far. I gave Dave my want list and he added the 15% discount to the entire order and even added the discount to something I had purchased previously and was waiting on. I would have a hard time believing I could possibly get better service anywhere else, same possible but not better. Thanks again Hurricane. Harlond

I think a cool notification would be if your iPhone could VIBRATE when engine knock occurs, I assume many of us will not have our iPhone mounted in view on our sleds for daily trail riding....So it would be great to have that app send a notify thru the live data, and make the phone vibrate. I would think we could stick our phones close to our body then when riding(inner pocket ect) and then anytime we get a knock the thing would vibrate against our skin, as long as we can feel it good, that would be a cool option!.

Maybe let the GF riding on the back of sled hold your phone, and she will always be wanting you to put in 87 octane then! lol

If their are companies offering tunes that I didn't capture in the poll let me know what they are and I can add them.

Be interesting to see if boost-engineering from quebec is going to join the game.

I was a long time TD customer on my previous 1100's. At the beginning of last year when I first got my sidewinder I was running and flashing sleds with the EVO maptuner and tunes. I went that route because at the time EVO was the only Vendor offering a stand alone system that would allow me to flash my own, and my customers sleds. After running those tunes for a while, I have returned back to my roots at TD. And so have many of my customers that I previously flashed with other tunes. We all couldn't be happier and look forward to this winter. My own sled will be upping the ante a bit, and start testing with the race maps. Last year I was able to put down some great results, and fantastic reliability running up to the 17 psi max pump map. This year... I'm going for more PSI ;)

More psi is awesome on TDs race maps. Takes about 30 minutes after a run for the smile to leave your face. Lol

Thank you. Your sled is a rocket now with the Max17. 132.7mph in 1320 on the radar gun, besting other sidewinders. Only mine was quicker because I was testing the semi race map (22 psi)
I really enjoyed you taking the win against Boombastic's Cat. He had been pretty vocal about wanting us to come and challenge his cat LOL !

I'm surprised there is not more people on this forum that have sidewinders with Tunes.

A little concerned about voiding warranty, but it looks like trail tunes are pretty safe. Can I do the Eco trail tune with stock muffler?
