All ATV trails are open, which include the Tuscobia State Trail (62 miles), Flambeau River State Forest trail (38 miles), and the Flambeau Trail System (60 miles) in the Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest (east of Park Falls and Fifield). ATV enthusiasts returning to the forest trails and roads will be greeted by more signs along the way designating the correct routes. The new signs are placed in the ditch, generally to the right of the main intersection with another road, such as a township road. The eight-inch-square signs are attached to fiberglass posts and are four to five feet above the ground. Forest road numbers appear above the ATV symbol. All forest service roads open to ATV use will be posted with signs. Spring is a great time to enjoy the trails. However, conditions are often dry and the fire danger is high at times. Machines must have spark arrestors installed. Dry conditions and hot machines are a dangerous mix.
The 62-mile TUSCOBIA STATE TRAIL http://www.tuscobiatrail.com/ is open to ATVs April 15 thru November 15.
The 60-mile FLAMBEAU TRAIL SYSTEM is open to ATVs May 1 thru March 14.
The 38-mile FLAMBEAU RIVER STATE FOREST TRAIL is open to ATVs May 15 thru November 15.
The 26.2 mile PINE LINE TRAIL is open to ATVs during the snowmobile season December 2 thru March 31.
