I took my clutches off for a cleaning & pre-season inspection & I tell ya, these Yammi primary clutches are a much superior design than the Poo & Cat ones hands down!!
All of my last seven Poo's needed lots of clutch attention as they tend to wear lots on the towers as well as the buttons which leads to a "wobbly" clutch! Always shimming the buttons on the spider!!
My Yammi clutch after over 4000 miles is still tight like new, clean e'r up & slap e'r back inn....which brings me to my question. In the manual it says, " 1st 85ft lb"
" 2nd 43ft lb"
Does that mean to double torque it, 85lbs then re-torque at 43? 85 pounds seems a little high as well, my Polaris' were always only 55 ft lbs.
