Wow, you mean bussiness on this one. Your on the move with this project, don't lose steam. By the way, isn't it awsome to see the UPS truck pulling up the drive 2-3 times a week? Its like Christmas all thru the summer! Keep up the good work!

I'm in college now, and when I come home, the first thing I do is check to see what boxes are waiting for me in the shop..it's pretty exciting. I do all my own work, in my own spare time, and having those parts sitting there in front of me brings it one step closer to completion.

Hey guys - haven't had much time to update, but here's a quick cell phone snapshot:

The engine is running and the chain case is together. I added a taller bar riser from an Apex MTX. I pieced the plastic together and rolled the suspension inside the track for the picture (it's not mounted yet).

I'm kinda going for the blacked-out look, and I think it'll be pretty mean looking when it's done.

Give me some feedback!

I'll get on here and do a better write up when I get a chance.

Holy cow, you have that much done already?!?! your a man on the move! you must have a pile of free time on your hands. I remember when I was in collage, if I didn't have homework, I had ladies to attend to. I see that you have your priorities strait. Nice work ;)!

I wish I had free time - I have a full class load plus college sports. Only time I have for the sled is weekends, and then that's only the weekends I'm able to come home. Should be fully functional before snow is on the ground though ;)!

Here are some better pictures of the sled as it sits now - but I haven't been home home to work on it since the last update. This weekend I hope to get the suspension mounted (if I get the right dimensions) and tunnel extension on, then most of the major work will be done. We've been getting small amounts of snow the last few days - if I get it together, I'm gonna be practically sitting on my hands trying to resist taking it out and ripping up the yard.

Nytro MTX Extrovert drivers installed on the original Apex GT driveshaft, and right now as it sits loosely I have some rail/driver clearance issues.

The suspension is just sitting in there - got buckets holding up the tunnel at the moment ;)!

Notice the MTX riser - worked pretty well with the stock cables:

The track approach angle is looking pretty good, more like a mountain sled. It should get even better when the suspension is mounted since it will be pulled back a bit.

Adding oil to the chaincase - after reading about oils on here for awhile I decided to go with just straight 50 weight oil.

Here's a bunch of stock and aftermarket stuff I don't need - I have a thread in the classifieds section if anyone needs anything..PM me with offers!

I finally got the correct measurements for mounting the suspension, so hopefully in the next couple weeks I'll get a chance to work on it some more.

Quick update - I got the suspension mounted last weekend. Hopefully I'll get some more done this weekend and have some new pics.

Got the tunnel extension on and other misc. parts. It's getting pretty close to done, or being fully functional anyway. I'll probably wait until summer to work on the detailing.
