Today I did it, bought an 09 RTX SE, boy it was close almost bought a RevXP 800X. THe deciding factor was the 5 year Yamaha waranty. I had great luck with my Apex and only Imagine the Nytro will be just as good. I feel 70lbs less weight and the superior suspnsion will more than make up for horespower differnce between the two sleds. (Nytro and My Apex)

Sorry but from 60 mph on up the 2 sleds are not even close in acceleration. I was on the fence between the se & xtx(se was $500 more) but inked a deal on the xtx.

Agree 100%. Nothing really compares to the Apex Motor from 60+ but the nice thing is now I ca go throught the nasty stuff at 60 mph and not worry about breaking the rear. Also I'm not a speed demon so the choice is easy for me. I hope people really consider their riding style and location before choosing a sled.

Lucky Bastard........lol

Had only I waited 1 more year, I'd be ordering one myself. I can't wait to start hearing the reports on the Nytro SE's.

i hear ya man if i wouldn't have bought an 08 rtx i would be buying the se. wouldn't even have to think about it.

Its going to be a long summer for sure. I know the Apex was faster, but think with the Nytro in most conditions I will be able to ride faster and longer. IF I dont like the Nytro I will just sell it and buy something else. I am pretyy sure I will like it. Before the Nytros came out I had said I would gladly give up some horsepower in exchange for better suspension. What I really wanted was a sled that had the ride of a Rev with the reliability and fit and finish of a Yamaha

The Apex isn't going to be faster when I put a Super Charger on My Nytro. LOL

The Apex will never be as light or feel as light as the Nytro or take the big Bumps like a Nytro

I think a nytro will smoke an Apex in really beat up whopped out crappy trails .The wide open trails of Canada the Nytro is going to be playing catch up.
