Is it possible to retrofit an older 2015 viper or 7000 to the new push button start .

Should not be hard find your starter signal wire from old key switch and any power and run it to the new style switch

Sounds good, just wondering what I need to buy to make it work. They changed the reverse button to the left side
also. I guess you would need the complete left handlebar switch assembly and change them both. Thanks.

You should do some research over on the Yamaha jet boat forums. I’ve seen a few there. I believe their upper trim level models come with push button start from the factory.
