You have any pics?
I am guessin by "fat bars" you mean 1-1/8 bars vs the stock 7/8 width at the clamp. I have done it a few times in the past, and used parts from Tag and Pro-Taper. Tucker Rockey and Parts Unlimited should have what you are looking for.

This may be a dumb question ... But what is the purpose of fat bars?

well I had my dirt bike bars on my old sled, just more comfortable for me I guess, and they work really well for tryin tricks or just jumpin. anywho I was looking at the tag handle bars site and they have over sized clamps. does anyonw know if that will do the trick?

oversized is what you are looking for. You need to go with either oversized clamps, or fatbar riser, as the bars are 'fatter'(hence the name fatbar) where you attach them to the riser.
Fatbars doesn't bend as easy as regular bars.

Mahler industrys makes a 2 inch riser that is the will clamp into your stock risers and then be the 1-1/8 to acmodate your fat bars .

fly racing makes risers for the fatbars. but u need a pivot adapter or powermadd makes the riser and adapter and oversize bar mounts. i put tag bars on my fx i tryed to use the stock riser but the bolts for the oversize bar adaptor hit on the bars . so i just put all powermadd stuff on it works great just go to jimmy blazes web site and check is phazers out.

fatbars are way better they have better bends and they dont brake i bent 3 sets of stock bars. 2 stock phaxer bars and a set of the 06 apex bars.and fatbars look way cooler too.

I think the basic rox pivot riser is available with a different size clamp.
