Wondering what is everyone going with, I really like the quietness of the stock setup. I realize for good improvement we really need to go with a free flowing muffler.
Is the Super Quiet the quietest?
Which mufflers allow for chain tension adjustments without removal?
Is the Hindle loud? It seems to be the lightest and looks to allow access to chain adjuster.
I see Ben offers a nice package of muffler, flash and Dalton weights.

It seems like we have to sacrifice some "quietness" to get an exhaust that allows access to the chain tensioner. So far it looks like all the real quiet cans resemble the stock muffler, ie. The super quiet and Evo's magnum

This will be an interesting post
I too would enjoy a smaller and a little louder muffler, but with needing a tune and clutching it gets pricey

Sounds like the Hurricane is right for you. A little louder, more power and no need to tuneThis will be an interesting post

Not sure I would trust and muffler without a tuneSounds like the Hurricane is right for you. A little louder, more power and no need to tune
It seems like a big risk
AFR's stay low. They have a dyno report on their Facebook page
I just don't know how quiet or loud these things are without hearing it in person.
"Quiet" is so subjective

I heard a thundercat on the weekend that had the stock muffler modified by TD
It sounded very nice but I didn't hear it at much more than 3000rpms

We are about to release 4 different exhausts. I will release them tonight on this forum, We will have the most quiet exhaust on the market right now. We had a test exhaust out last weekend on a customers sled and he claims it was more silent then his friends mod stock. We are using new packing in our exhausts this year that will not burn out fast like other mufflers out there.

I've done the same test with a db meter at the same distance and even the turboforce passes this test. Not very hard to pass. The super quiet passes it easy as well. And the td stock modified is close to stock sound level. There is only 1 performance exhaust that I know of that passed DNR decibel levels....and you know which one that was
Ive got the videos I've never posted them.

From yours and other mufflers have you really tested any that are safe without a tune?
FYI The guys I met in Sainte-Anne-Du-Lac on the weekend were very satisfied customers

Out of the TD mufflers, the TD stock modified stage 2 is ok but would run even better with tune. All the other higher flow td mufflers are too lean for my taste... 12.3 to 12.4.
