I know at one time there was a thread on how to replace your RA cable. Can't seem to find it now that I need it. Any one replace one and how hard is it?
Any ways to make them last longer?

It's not hard. Cut the tang end off of a square file about 2" long and put int the adjuster of the shock and turn all the way clockwise, turn the adjuster knob to hard (counter clockwise). It's a bit of a job to get the new cable inside the rubber boot. You have to split the seams on both ends of the boot and reseal them. I used shoe goo and tiewraps, it lasted 2years until I broke the cable again. As for making it last any longer, I don't know.

The new updated cables with the clear sleeve hold up much better. I have replaced the black ones twice and so far the clear one is still together.
