How the heck do you hook up a new throttle cable under the hood w/o taking off the radiator or air box? Other guys claim to be able but I'm at a loss here. That being said: Anyone know the 'clean' process for draining the coolant to take the radiator off?
I am currently trying to install an MTX throttle cable on my XTX after installing an OFT relocate because I want to see if the extra 1.5" allows me to keep the cable routed on the front side of the bars. I have an apex pad on my handle bars that the cable sticks to now and I don't want to lose that. Worst case I keep it routed in back of bars but gain the extra clearance I need to avoid it sticking to the pad.
